Title 19 applies to metal halide lamp fixtures that are capable of operating a lamp in a vertical operating position or within fifteen degrees of a vertical operating position, and are capable of operating lamps rated equal to or greater than 150 watts and less than or equal to 500 watts. Title 19 shall not apply to exterior floodlights where such fixtures are installed so that water cannot enter into or accumulate within wiring compartments, lampholders or other electrical parts, and where such fixtures are marked, “Suitable for Wet Locations.”
