High output linear fluorescent lamps were developed in Europe, and Crescent/Stonco was the first HID high bay company to offer linear fluorescent high bays to the market. We combined our knowledge of the HID industrial market with our knowledge of the fluorescent industrial market. Crescent/Stonco fluorescent high bays utilize 4-light; 54 watt T5HO or 6-light; 32 watt T8 that produces the same light as a 400 watt metal halide.
